United Grand Lodge of Queensland

Halcyon Masonic Lodge is located in Toowoomba, the picturesque garden city of Queensland. Clinging to the edge of the Great Dividing Range escarpment at an altitude of seven hundred metres above sea level, it is the second largest inland city in Australia.
Halcyon Lodge meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at the Robbie Burns Masonic Centre. Installation is on the second Saturday in February.

Freemasonry
Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and largest fraternal societies with some 5 million members globally, about 75,000 in Australasia and over 9,000 here in Queensland.
The fraternity of Freemasonry encourages self-improvement, promotes patriotism and respect for the rule of law, sanctions equal rights under law, practices goodwill towards all men, respects the role of women and the family in society, contributes generously to charity and is actively involved in the community.
Freemasons come from all walks of life, however while they may come from different backgrounds and political and religious beliefs, all Freemasons have in common a concern for humanity and the maintenance of moral standards. Freemasonry is a multi-racial, multi-cultural, and multi-generational organisation. Freemasons live by the principles of integrity, goodwill, and charity.
