As at 7 September 2011, our Appeal has secured donations and pledges of $901.000.00 – very close to realising our original target of $1 million. Our thanks are extended to our own Board of General Purposes and Board of Benevolence ($250,000), and the Brethren of Grand Lodges in Victoria (the big cheque of $150,000 received at Quarterly Communication on the Gold Coast) and New South Wales ($100,000), South Australia ($76,000) Tasmania ( $39,320) and the UK (₤20,000) for their generous contributions, as well as the many individual Brethren, Lodges and Masonic family groups, who have provided donations.
